Subject

• Owner’s Gallery is only open for Volvo trucks. Photographs of other truck makes will therefore not be published.
• Photographs that are uploaded must be of good graphic quality and should clearly show the truck according to the instructions in the section entitled “Image Treatment” alongside.
• Images and texts which for various reasons risk being considered offensive will not be accepted and it is Volvo Truck Corporation (“Volvo”) which solely makes that decision.

Rights

• The person uploading the image must guarantee that he or she has the rights to the photograph or that he has the permission of the truck owner or the person otherwise entitled to such rights (if other than himself/herself) to publish the photograph on Loading Ramp.
• After the picture has been uploaded, Volvo will evaluate the photograph and accompanying description. Volvo may without further explanation decide against publication of photographs and texts.
• Once the photograph is uploaded, Volvo is granted the right to use the image and text on Loading Ramp. Approved photographs may be used in several different ways on the site: as MMS images for mobile phones, as desktop images for PCs and as electronic postcards. Volvo also has the right to remove the image at any time, without providing any reason and without prior notification to the person who has uploaded the image.

Usage

• Volvo guarantees that the information uploaded to Loading Ramp will only be used for the purposes described on the website.
• By accepting the conditions on this page and uploading the image, you guarantee that you own the rights to the photograph or, if not, have the owner’s approval for uploading the image. Furthermore, you give Volvo the right to publish the information about yourself and the truck that you submitted to Loading Ramp, and approve storage of your personal data for the purposes described here.
• Volvo is granted the right to free-of-charge usage of the picture after it has been uploaded to Loading Ramp and has the full right to independently decide how the photograph and its accompanying text will be handled and used within the framework of Loading Ramp.
• The person uploading the image receives an email when/if the picture is published. The email specifies the photograph’s unique ID. With the help of this ID, the person uploading the image can at any time and without providing any reason request that Volvo removes the picture from Loading Ramp. This is done by returning the email that was received in conjunction with publication and writing the word “delete” on the email subject line. This request will only take effect once Volvo receives the email, but it will not affect those copies of the photograph that may have been downloaded in the interim by visitors to Loading Ramp.
